" DRIVE MODE " menu

For safety reasons, carry out any adjustments while the vehicle is stationary.

From the "Vehicle" world , you can access the "DRIVE MODE" using the "Drive Mode" menu 1. This menu lets you customise the behaviour of some on-board systems.

Selecting mode

Available modes may vary according to the vehicle and equipment level. From the "Drive Mode" menu 1, select the mode desired:

  • « Save » ;
  • « Normal » ;
  • « Sport » ;
  • « Perso ».

For more information on each of these modes, please see your vehicle user manual.

« Configure »

Select the desired mode, then press "Configure" 2 to customise the various parameters of the following on-board systems:

  • « Steering effort » ;
  • « Climate » ;
  • « Ambient lighting » ;
  • ...

Note:

  • some configuration menus may vary depending on the vehicle and the equipment level;
  • you can also access the various modes by pressing your vehicle's "DRIVE MODE" control repeatedly. Please refer to the vehicle user manual for further information.

Configure " DRIVE MODE "

The configuration screen "DRIVE MODE" contains the following tabs:

  • "Driving" 3 shows the functions related to driving the vehicle;
  • "Life on board" 4 shows the functions related to the on-board experience.

Note: the available settings may vary according to the "DRIVE MODE" mode, your vehicle model and equipment level.

From the tab 5, you can "Reset mode settings".

" Driving " settings

From the "Driving" menu 3, you can configure the following equipment:

  • « Engine » ;
  • « Engine Sound » ;
  • « Alpine Drive sound » ;
  • « Steering effort » ;
  • ...

« Engine »

This menu offers several engine response settings:

  • « Normal » ;
  • « Sport » ;
  • « Eco ».

Depending on the setting selected, the power and engine torque become more noticeable and responsive.

« Engine Sound »

This menu gives you different engine sound levels for the passenger compartment:

  • « Low » ;
  • « High » ;
  • « OFF ».

« Alpine Drive sound »

(depending on equipment)

This menu offers you different types of sound generated in the passenger compartment, such as acceleration noise, braking noise, and the activation of the Overtake and the Launch Control:

  • "Alpine";
  • « Alternate ».

« Steering effort »

This menu offers several steering response settings:

  • « Low » ;
  • « Middle » ;
  • « High ».

Depending on the setting selected, the steering sensitivity can be adjusted to become more reactive or heavier in order to provide optimal balance between a smooth and accurate steering experience.

" Life on board " settings

From the "Life on board" menu 4, you can configure the following equipment:

  • « Ambient lighting » ;
  • « Light intensity » ;
  • « Climate » ;
  • ...

« Ambient lighting »

You can use this menu to set the ambient lighting in the passenger compartment:

  • « Changing » ;
  • « Personal ».

« Light intensity »

You can use this menu to adjust the brightness of the ambient lighting.

For more information on "Light intensity", please refer to the "Ambient lighting" section Ambient lighting.

« Climate »

You can use this menu to adjust the air conditioning operation:

  • « Normal » ;

    The "Normal" setting allows you to make optimal use of the air conditioning.

  • « Eco ».

    The air conditioning "Eco" setting allows you to optimise the vehicle's range by acting on the performance of the air conditioning (e.g. longer time to reach the requested temperature setpoint, etc.).

    When the air conditioning "Eco" setting is activated, the ECO indicator light 6 is displayed on the multimedia screen.
